Anker has just revealed its newest sleep-focused wireless earbuds, the Soundcore Sleep A30, now featuring long-awaited active noise canceling (ANC).
The A30s are a major upgrade from last year’s A20 model, which relied only on a snug fit to block out noise. But this year’s $229.99 price tag—$80 more than the A20—might make some think twice. That said, early Kickstarter backers can grab them for just $139.
ANC is the headline feature here. It uses two microphones—one on the outside and one inside the ear—to detect and cancel out unwanted sound. This means the A30 can block up to 30dB of noise, which could be a game-changer for light sleepers or those living in noisy areas.

These aren’t just your typical wireless earbuds with ANC. They’re specifically designed for sleep. The A30s are 7% slimmer than the A20, with a shape that makes them more comfortable to wear while lying down.

Adaptive snore masking and smarter sleep tracking onboard
But the upgrades don’t stop at active noise canceling. Anker is also introducing something called Adaptive Snore Masking, built right into the charging case. It works by detecting nearby snoring sounds and generating audio that plays through the buds to help mask the snoring and let you sleep peacefully.
It’s not just about blocking sound though. The Sleep A30 earbuds are loaded with smart features. Through the Soundcore app, you can track your sleep quality and sleep position throughout the night.

They even come with a private alarm system you can customize, and a snooze feature that won’t disturb your partner. If you lose an earbud in the sheets, the app includes a Find My Earbud feature to help you track it down.
There’s a trade-off for all this tech: battery life. While the older A20s could last 14 hours on a single charge, the A30s max out at 9 hours with ANC when playing built-in sleep sounds.
If you’re streaming from your phone, that number drops to 6.5 hours. Still, with the included charging case, total usage can stretch to 45 hours on local playback, or 35 hours when streaming.

The Sleep A30 is launching first on Kickstarter, where early backers can score the earbuds at a discount. Full retail availability is expected in August 2025 on Amazon and Soundcore’s online store.
