Dedicated Incognito Button in Search Bar
In beta version 15.26.34.29.arm64 of the Google app, an incognito button appears directly in the search bar as soon as you start typing something, according to Assemble Debug.
Android Authority confirmed that it worked during its own testing, so it could be a convenient addition. This button could remove multiple steps required for accessing incognito mode now and overall improve user experience (UX).
Simplified UI: No Text in Bottom Tabs
On top of adding this new incognito button, Google is also trying out some changes related to the interface (UI). In an attempt at making things cleaner-looking below the screen, which is where tabs like Home, Search, and Saved reside currently speak about them through text labels that will no longer appear next icons displayed among other things they have planned)
This change could help achieve this goal by de-cluttering elements from view while still providing enough visual cues for navigation purposes.
But when these particular alterations might go public remains unknown at this point — we’ll just have to wait until then!
These tweaks found only within beta versions suggest intuitive undertakings aimed towards friendliness during navigation; if adopted widely would result in making users’ journey less demanding when in Google App.
