Windows 10 Gets Lifeline with Extended Support

This came as a welcome development for Windows 10 which had almost reached its end of life in October 2025. According to Microsoft, at least five more years of additional support will be provided by Opatch for users of Windows 10. This means that these operating systems can live beyond their official timelines of being supported by Redmond Software Company.

Furthermore, the recent update – KB5039299 addressed various bugs including fixing broken jump lists. Such extended support and continuous updates should give confidence to those who love sticking with Windows ten a little bit longer.

Surface Devices Score High on Repairability

Microsoft’s hardware news shows high scores on repairability for its latest Surface devices among them are the Surface Laptop Seven and Surface Pro Eleven.

Ifixit awarded these products eight out often highlighting user-friendly design and ease of reach. This makes them better repairable than previous models since components feature QR codes allowing ready access to repair guides and parts.

Windows Insider Program Introduces New Features

There is also some exciting news about the Windows Insider Program. For instance, the Canary Channel published build 26244 for Windows 11 which came with various enhancements and novelties.

These include enhanced accessibility options, redesigned user interfaces, and updated emojis all of which improve the user experience by making it smoother and more fun.
